Tonight I performed a concert with the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble and I must say, it was one of the best concerts I have ever done. Tomorrow night I have a school band concert which will be awesome like always.
Along with CYWE and school, I have finally convinced my band director to let me be in the school jazz band even though I am a clarinet and he has never allowed one to be in it. Maybe it was because of my stepping up in class or my recent involvement in Percussion Ensemble, but either way I am super excited! I've wanted to be in jazz band for the longest time and now my dreams have come true! Now I just have to play in a symphony and I will be satisfied.
With CYWE, school band, percussion ensemble, and now jazz band along with taking private lessons I'd like to think that I have my work cut out for me. :)
